"Kern's Water Treatment had a busy year in 2007, supporting several nonprofit activities. They also donated the water filteration system that went into the home of the Woodhouse family, featured on ABC's 'Extreme Makeover' Home Edition TV show.

Daughter kayla Woodhouse suffers a condition that makes her skin highly reactive to the chemicals in tap and even bottled water. Her skin dries, cracks and bleeds. Kern's installed a filtration system to remove all chemical contaminants from the water.

Upon visiting the Woodhouse's on Dec. 10, the family reported they are settling in well, and the water system has made their lives easier and less stressful"
